A Unique Day Calls for a Unique Best Friend Gift

Citizens of Friendship, Maine will celebrate their 25th annual Friendship Day, taking place from July 25th to July 27th. The theme of this year's Friendship Celebration is "Friends Helping Friends." The celebration begins on Friday with a softball tournament. Other events include a lobster boat races and a pancake breakfast. Sunday night, participants will be entertained by a firework show, ending the celebration.

There will be face painting, a parade, and balloon animals made from clowns for the kids. Children can also make a unique best friend gift to exchange with a special some one. Adults simply help their fellow neighbor, giving the gift of time and assistance. Money made from the event goes to the local ambulance service; ensuring residents of Friendship will always have an ambulance in an emergency.
